ይህ ሁሉ ከተጠናቀቀ በኋላ፣ በዚያ የነበሩ እስራኤላውያን ሁሉ ወደ ይሁዳ ከተሞች ወጡ፤ ጣዖታትን በትር ቈርጠው ሰበሩ፣ አሸራ አምዶችን ቈረጡ፣ ከፍ ባሉ ስፍራዎችንና መሠዊያዎችን በይሁዳና በብንያም ሁሉ ደግሞ በኤፍሬምና በምናሴ አገር እስኪያጠፉአቸው ድረስ አፈረሱ። ከዚያ እስራኤል ልጆች ሁሉ ሰው ሁሉ ወደ ርስቱ ወደ የራሳቸው ከተሞች ተመለሱ።

• 2 ነገ 23:2-9 : 2 ንጉሡም ወደ እግዚአብሔር ቤት ወጣ፤ ከእርሱም ጋር የይሁዳ ሰዎች ሁሉና የኢየሩሳሌም ሕዝብ ሁሉ፣ ካህናትና ነቢያት፣ ታናሹና ታላቁ ሁሉ ነበሩ፤ እርሱም በጆሮአቸው ውስጥ በእግዚአብሔር ቤት ውስጥ የተገኘው የኪዳኑ መጽሐፍ የሆነውን ቃል ሁሉ አነበበ። 3 ንጉሡም በዓምዱ አጠገብ ቆሞ፣ ከእግዚአብሔር በኋላ ለመሄድ፣ ትእዛዙንና ምስክሮቹን ሥርዓቶቹንም በልባቸው ሁሉ በነፍሳቸውም ሁሉ ለማጥበብ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት ኪዳን አደረገ፤ በዚህ መጽሐፍ የተጻፉትን የዚህን ኪዳን ቃሎች ለማድረግ ተስፋ ቆረጠ። ሕዝቡ ሁሉም በኪዳኑ ላይ ቆመ። 4 ንጉሡም ካህናት አለቃ ኢልቄያስን፣ የሁለተኛውን ደረጃ ካህናትንና በር ጠባቂዎችን እንዲህ አዘዘ፤ ከእግዚአብሔር መቅደስ ወደ ውጭ ለባዕልና ለአሸራ እንዲሁም ለየሰማይ ሠራዊት የተሠሩ ዕቃዎች ሁሉን አውጡ፤ እነርሱንም ከኢየሩሳሌም ውጭ በቂድሮን ሜዳዎች አቃጠለ፤ አመድአቸውንም ወደ ቤቴል ዐመጣ። 5 በይሁዳ ከተሞች ሁሉ እና በኢየሩሳሌም ዙሪያ ባሉ ከፍተኛ ቦታዎች ዕጣን እንዲያቃጥሉ የይሁዳ ነገሥታት ያቀመጧቸውን የጣዖት ካህናት ሰረዘ፤ እንዲሁም ለባዕል፣ ለፀሐይ፣ ለጨረቃ፣ ለከዋክብትና ለየሰማይ ሠራዊት ሁሉ ዕጣን የሚያቃጥሉትን ሁሉ አስወገደ። 6 ከእግዚአብሔር ቤት አሸራውን አወጣ፤ ከኢየሩሳሌም ውጭ ወደ ቂድሮን ጅረት አመጣው አቃጠለውም፤ እስኪለቅመድ ድብደበው አደረገው፤ ዱቄቱንም በሕዝቡ ልጆች መቃብሮች ላይ በረዘመው። 7 እግዚአብሔር ቤት አጠገብ የነበሩትን የቁመጦች ቤቶች አፈረሰ፤ በዚያ ሴቶች ለአሸራ መጋረጃዎችን ይሠሩ ነበር። 8 ካህናቱን ሁሉ ከይሁዳ ከተሞች አወጣ፤ ካህናት ዕጣን የሚያቃጥሉባቸውን ከፍተኛ ቦታዎች ከጌባ እስከ ቤርሳቤህ ድረስ አረከሰ፤ የከተማው አለቃ የሆነው የኢያሱ በር መግቢያ ላይ ባሉ የከፍተኛ ቦታዎችንም አፈረሰ፤ እነርሱም በከተማው በር ላይ ወደ ግራ በኩል ያሉ ነበሩ። 9 ነገር ግን የከፍተኛ ቦታ ካህናት በኢየሩሳሌም ወደ እግዚአብሔር መሠዊያ አልወጡም፤ ነገር ግን ከወንድሞቻቸው ጋር እርሾ የሌለውን ቂጣ ይበሉ ነበር። 10 ቶፌትንም በሄኖም ልጆች ሸለቆ ያለችውን አረከሰ፤ ማንም ልጁን ወይም ልጅቱን ለሞሎክ በእሳት እንዳያሳልፍ እንዲሁ አደረገ። 11 የይሁዳ ነገሥታት በእግዚአብሔር ቤት መግቢያ አጠገብ በዳርቻ ያለው የውስጥ ግቢ ሹም ናታን-ሜሌክ ክፍል አጠገብ ለፀሐይ የሰጡትን ፈረሶች አስወገደ፤ የፀሐይንም ሰረገሎች በእሳት አቃጠለ። 12 በእግዚአብሔር ቤት በሁለቱ አደባባዮች መናሴ ያደረጋቸውን መሠዊያዎችና በአካዝ የላይኛው ክፍል ላይ የነበሩትን መሠዊያዎች ንጉሡ አፈረሰ፤ ከዚያም አውርዶ ሰበራቸው፤ ትቢያቸውንም ወደ ቂድሮን ጅረት ጣለ። 13 እንዲሁም ከኢየሩሳሌም ፊት ለፊት በጥፋት ተራራ በቀኝ ያሉ፣ የእስራኤል ንጉሥ ሰሎሞን ለሲዶናውያን ርኩሰት ሆነች ለአስቶሬት፣ ለሞዓባውያን ርኩሰት የሆነ ለኬሞሽ፣ ለአሞናውያን ርኩሰት የሆነ ለሚልኮም የሠራቸውን ከፍተኛ ቦታዎች ንጉሡ አረከሳቸው። 14 ምስሎቹን በቁርጭምጭር ሰበረ፤ አሸራዎቹንም ቈረጠ፤ ቦታቸውንም በሰው አጥንት ሞላ። 15 በቤቴል ያለውን መሠዊያ እንዲሁም ነባጥ ልጅ ዮሮቤዓም እስራኤልን እንዲበድል ያደረገውን ከፍተኛ ቦታ ደግሞ አፈረሰ፤ መሠዊያውንና ከፍተኛውን ቦታ አፈረሰ፤ ከፍተኛውን ቦታ አቃጠለ፣ እስኪለቅመድ አደረገው፤ አሸራውንም አቃጠለ። 16 ዮስያስም ተመለሰ ሲመለከት፣ በኰረብታው ያሉትን መቃብሮች አየ፤ ልኮ አጥንቶቹን ከመቃብሮቹ አወጡ በመሠዊያው ላይ አቃጠሏቸው መሠዊያውንም አረከሰ፤ ይህም የእግዚአብሔር ቃል እንደ ነበረ እንዳወጀው የእግዚአብሔር ሰው የተናገረው ነገር መሆኑን አሳየ። 17 ከዚያ እንዲህ አለ፦ የማየው ያ ምልክት ምንድን ነው? የከተማውም ሰዎች፦ ከይሁዳ መጣ በቤቴል መሠዊያ ላይ እንደዚህ ያለ ያደረግህ ነገር እንደምትሠራ ያወጀው የእግዚአብሔር ሰው መቃብር ነው ብለው ነገሩት። 18 እርሱም፦ ተዉት፤ ማንም አጥንቱን አያንቀሳቅስ አለ። ስለዚህ ከሰማርያ የመጣው ነቢይ አጥንት ጋር አጥንቱን ተዉት። 19 በሰማርያ ከተሞች ውስጥ ያሉ የከፍተኛ ቦታ ቤቶችንም ሁሉ፣ የእስራኤል ነገሥታት እግዚአብሔርን ለማስቈጣት የሠሩአቸውን፣ ዮስያስ አስወገዳቸው፤ በቤቴል እንዳደረገ ሁሉ በእነርሱም ላይ አደረገ። 20 በዚያ ባሉ መሠዊያዎች ላይ የነበሩ የከፍተኛ ቦታ ካህናትን ሁሉ ገደለ፤ በመሠዊያዎቹም ላይ የሰው አጥንት አቃጠለ፤ ከዚያም ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም ተመለሰ።

• 2 ዜና 30:1-9 : 1 ሕዝቅያስም ወደ እስራኤልና ወደ ይሁዳ ሁሉ መልእክተኞችን ላከ፤ እንዲሁም ለኤፍሬምና ለማናሴ መልእክት ጻፈ እንዲመጡ በይሩሳሌም ያለው የእግዚአብሔር ቤት ውስጥ ለእስራኤል አምላክ ለእግዚአብሔር ፋሲካን እንዲያከብሩ። 2 ንጉሡም ከአለቆቹና ከበይሩሳሌም ካሉት ማኅበሩ ሁሉ ጋር በሁለተኛው ወር ፋሲካን እንዲያከብሩ ምክር አወጣ። 3 በዚያን ጊዜ መክበር አልቻሉም፤ ምክንያቱም ካህናቱ በቂ ሁኔታ ራሳቸውን ሳይቀድሱ ነበር እና ሕዝቡም ወደ ይሩሳሌም ሳይሰበስብ ነበር። 4 ይህ ነገር ለንጉሡና ለማኅበሩ ሁሉ ተወደደ። 5 እንግዲህ ከቤርሴባ እስከ ዳን ድረስ በእስራኤል ሁሉ ማወጀ እንዲደረግ ደንብ ዋሉ፤ በይሩሳሌም ለእስራኤል አምላክ ለእግዚአብሔር ፋሲካን እንዲያከብሩ እንዲመጡ፤ ምክንያቱም እንደ ተጻፈው እንዲሁ በዚህ መንገድ ከረጅም ጊዜ ጀምሮ አልደረጉም ነበር። 6 መልእክተኞቹም ከንጉሡና ከአለቆቹ የወጡ ደብዳቤዎች ጋር በእስራኤልና በይሁዳ ሁሉ አለፉ፤ እንደ ንጉሡ ትእዛዝም እንዲህ ብለው አወጀው፦ የእስራኤል ልጆች ሆይ፥ ወደ አብርሃም፣ ወደ ይስሐቅና ወደ እስራኤል አምላክ ወደ እግዚአብሔር ተመለሱ፤ እርሱም ከአሦር ነገሥታት እጅ የተመለጡ ቀሪዎቻችሁ ወደ እነርሱ ይመለሳል። 7 እንደ አባቶቻችሁና እንደ ወንድሞቻችሁ አትሁኑ፤ እነርሱ በአባቶቻቸው አምላክ በእግዚአብሔር ተላልፈው ስለዚህ እንደምታዩ ለጥፋት ተሰጡ። 8 አሁንም እንደ አባቶቻችሁ አንገተ-ደናግል አትሁኑ፤ ነገር ግን ራሳችሁን ለእግዚአብሔር አሳልፉ እና ለዘላለም ያቀደሰው ወደ መቅደሱ ግቡ፤ እግዚአብሔር አምላካችሁንም አገለግሉ እንዲሁ የቍጣው መዓት ከእናንተ እንዲመለስ። 9 ለእግዚአብሔር ብትመለሱ፥ ወንድሞቻችሁና ልጆቻችሁ ወደ ምርኮ ያመሩአቸው ፊት ርኅራኄ ያገኛሉ እና ወደዚህ ምድር ይመለሳሉ፤ ምክንያቱም እግዚአብሔር አምላካችሁ ገርማዊና ሩኅሩኅ ነው፥ እናንተም ወደ እርሱ ብትመለሱ ፊቱን ከእናንተ አይመልስም። 10 ስለዚህ መልእክተኞቹ በኤፍሬምና በማናሴ አገር እስከ ዛብሉን ድረስ ከከተማ ወደ ከተማ አለፉ፤ ነገር ግን ሰዎቹ አሣቁባቸው ዘበቁአቸው። 11 ነገር ግን ከአሴርና ከማናሴ እና ከዛብሉን አንዳንዶች ራሳቸውን ዝቅ አድርገው ወደ ይሩሳሌም መጡ። 12 በይሁዳም መካከል የእግዚአብሔር እጅ ልባቸውን አንድ ለማድረግ ነበረች፤ እንደ እግዚአብሔር ቃልም የንጉሡንና የአለቆቹን ትእዛዝ እንዲያደርጉ። 13 በሁለተኛው ወር የእርሾ የሌለው እንጀራ በዓልን ለማክበር ብዙ ሕዝብ በይሩሳሌም ተሰበሰበ፤ እጅግ ታላቅ ማኅበር ነበረ። 14 እነርሱም ተነሥተው በይሩሳሌም ያሉትን መሠዊያዎች አስወገዱ፤ ለዕጣንም የተሠሩ መሠዊያዎችን ሁሉ አስወግደው ወደ ቂድሮን ጅረት ጣሉአቸው። 15 ከዚያም በሁለተኛው ወር በአሥራ አራተኛው ቀን የፋሲካ መሥዋዕትን አረዱ፤ ካህናቱና ሌዋውያኑ ተዋረዱ ራሳቸውንም ቀደሱ እና የእሳት መሥዋዕትን ወደ እግዚአብሔር ቤት አመጡ። 16 እንደ ሥርዓታቸው እንደ እግዚአብሔር ሰው እንደ ሙሴ ሕግ በቦታቸው ቆመው፤ ካህናቱም ከሌዋውያን እጅ የተቀበሉትን ደም ረጩ። 17 በማኅበሩ መካከል እጅግ ብዙዎች አልቀደሱም ነበር፤ ስለዚህ ሌዋውያን ለንጹሕ ያልሆኑ ሁሉ የፋሲካ መሥዋዕቶችን ለመረዳት ተጠያቂ ሆነው ለእግዚአብሔር ለማቀድሳቸው ተደረጉ። 18 ሕዝቡ ብዙ ሆኖ፣ ከኤፍሬምና ከማናሴ እንዲሁም ከይሳኮርና ከዛብሉን ብዙዎች ራሳቸውን አልነጹም ነበር፤ ነገር ግን እንደ ተጻፈው ሥርዓት በሌለ መንገድ እንኳ ፋሲካን በሉ። ነገር ግን ሕዝቅያስ ስለእነርሱ እንዲህ ሲል ጸለየ፦ ቸር እግዚአብሔር እያንዳንዱን ይቅር ይሁን፤ 19 በመቅደሱ ማንጻት ሥርዓት መሠረት ሳይነጻም፥ ልቡን ለአባቶቹ አምላክ ለእግዚአብሔር ለመፈለግ ዝግጁ የሚያደርግን። 20 እግዚአብሔርም ሕዝቅያስን ሰማ ሕዝቡንም ፈወሰ። 21 በይሩሳሌም የነበሩ የእስራኤል ልጆች የእርሾ የሌለው እንጀራ በዓልን ሰባት ቀን በታላቅ ደስታ አከበሩ፤ ሌዋውያኑና ካህናቱም በየቀኑ ለእግዚአብሔር ያመሰገኑ ሲሆን በከባድ ድምፅ የሚሰሙ መሣሪያዎች ጋር ለእግዚአብሔር ዘመሩ። 22 እግዚአብሔርን የሚመለከተውን መልካም ዕውቀት ለሚያስተምሩ ለሌዋውያን ሁሉ ሕዝቅያስ የሚጽናና ቃል ተናገረላቸው፤ እነርሱም በዓሉን ሰባት ቀን ሙሉ በሉ ፤ የሰላም መሥዋዕት ያቀርቡ እና ለአባቶቻቸው አምላክ ለእግዚአብሔር ኃጢአታቸውን ይናዘዙ ነበር። 23 ሙሉ ማኅበሩም ሌሎች ሰባት ቀን እንዲጨምሩ ምክር አወጡ፤ ሌሎቹንም ሰባት ቀን በደስታ አከበሩ። 24 የይሁዳ ንጉሥ ሕዝቅያስ ለማኅበሩ ሺህ ከብቶችና ሰባት ሺህ በጎች ሰጠ፤ አለቆቹም ለማኅበሩ ሺህ ከብቶችና አስር ሺህ በጎች ሰጡ፤ ብዙ ካህናትም ራሳቸውን ቀደሱ። 25 የይሁዳ ማኅበር ሁሉ ከካህናቱና ከሌዋውያኑ ጋር፣ ከእስራኤልም የመጡ ማኅበሮች ሁሉ፣ እንዲሁም ከእስራኤል ምድር የመጡ እንግዶችና በይሁዳ የሚኖሩ ደስ አላቸው። 26 እንግዲህ በይሩሳሌም ታላቅ ደስታ ሆነ፤ ከዳዊት ልጅ ከእስራኤል ንጉሥ ከሰሎሞን ዘመን ጀምሮ እንደዚህ ያለ ነገር በይሩሳሌም አልነበረም። 27 ከዚያም ካህናቱ ሌዋውያኑ ተነሥተው ሕዝቡን ባረኩ፤ ድምፃቸውም ተሰማ ጸሎታቸውም እስከ ሰማይ እስከ ቅዱሱ መኖሪያው ደረሰ።
• ዘፍ 19:15 : 15 ጠዋት ሲወጣ መላእክቱ ሎጥን ቸኩሉት እና እንዲህ አሉት፣ ተነሣ፤ ሚስትህንና እዚህ ያሉ ሁለቱ ሴት ልጆችህን ውሰድ፤ ከከተማዪቱ ክፋት ጋር እንዳትጠፋ።
• ዘጸ 23:24 : 24 አማልክታቸውን አትሰግድላቸው፣ አታገልግላቸውም፣ ሥራቸውንም አታድርግ፤ ነገር ግን ሙሉ በሙሉ አፈርሳቸው ጣዖታቸውንም ፈጽሞ አፈርስ።
• ዳግ 7:5 : 5 ነገር ግን እንዲህ ታደርጉባቸዋላችሁ፤ መሠዊያቸውን ታፈርሱ፣ ሐውልቶቻቸውን ትሰብሩ፣ የአሸራ እንጨቶቻቸውን ትቈርጡ፣ ቀረጹ ምስሎቻቸውንም በእሳት ታቃጥሉ።
• 1 ነገ 18:38-40 : 38 በዚያን ጊዜ የእግዚአብሔር እሳት ወድቆ የሚቃጠለውን መሥዋዕትና እንጨቱንና ድንጋዮቹንና ትቢያውን በሙሉ በላ፤ በጉድጓዱም ያለውን ውሃ እንኳን ጠጠመው። 39 ሕዝቡም ሁሉ አይተው በፊታቸው ተደፉና እንዲህ አሉ፦ እግዚአብሔር እርሱ ነው አምላክ፤ እግዚአብሔር እርሱ ነው አምላክ። 40 ኤልያስም አለ፦ የባኣልን ነቢያት ይይዙአቸው፤ አንዱንም አያመልጡ። ይዞአቸውም ኤልያስ ወደ ቂሶን ወንዝ ወረዳቸው በዚያም ገደላቸው።
• 2 ነገ 17:2 : 2 እርሱም በእግዚአብሔር ፊት ክፉ ነገር አደረገ፤ ግን ከእርሱ በፊት ያሉ የእስራኤል ነገሥታት እንዳደረጉ አልሆነም።
