    4ስለዚህ ሐኑን የዳዊትን አገልጋዮች ይዞ ጢማቸውን ላጠፋቸው፤ ልብሳቸውንም ከመካከል እስከ ወገባቸው አጠገብ ቈርጦ አስወጣቸው።

    5ከዚያም ሰዎች ሄደው የሰዎቹን ድርጊት ለዳዊት ነገሩት፤ እርሱም ሊገናኙአቸው ሰዎችን ላከ፤ ሰዎቹ በጣም አፍርሰው ነበርና። ንጉሡም፦ ጢማችሁ እስኪያድግ ድረስ በኢያሪኮ ቆዩ ከዚያ ተመለሱ አላቸው።

    6የአሞን ልጆችም ራሳቸውን ለዳዊት እንደ ጠሉ ባዩ ጊዜ ሐኑንና የአሞን ልጆች ከምሶፖታሚያ ከአራም ማአካና ከጾባ ሰረገሎችንና ፈረሰኞችን ለመከራየት ሺህ ታለንት ብር ላኩ።
