    5እነርሱ በአውራ በግ ቀንድ ረጅም ድምፅ ሲነፉ እና እናንተ የመለከቱን ድምፅ በሰማችሁ ጊዜ ሕዝቡ ሁሉ በታላቅ እልልታ ይጮኻሉ፤ የከተማውም ቅጥር በሙሉ ይወድቃል፥ ሕዝቡም ሁሉ እያንዳንዱ ሰው በፊቱ ቀጥታ ወደ ላይ ይወጣል።

    6ኑን ልጅ ኢያሱም ካህናትን ጠርቶ እንዲህ አላቸው፦ የኪዳኑን ታቦት ይዘው ተነሡ፤ እንዲሁም ሰባት ካህናት በእግዚአብሔር ታቦት ፊት ከአውራ በግ ቀንዶች የተሠሩ ሰባት መለከቶች ይሸከሙ።

    7ለሕዝቡም እንዲህ አለ፦ ሂዱ እና ከተማውን አዙሩ፤ የመሣሪያ የለበሱትም በእግዚአብሔር ታቦት ፊት ይጓዙ።

    8ኢያሱ ለሕዝቡ ከተናገረ በኋላ ሰባት ካህናት የአውራ በግ ቀንዶች የተሠሩ ሰባት መለከቶችን ተሸክሞ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት ሄዱ እና መለከቶቹን ነፉ፤ የእግዚአብሔር የኪዳኑ ታቦትም ከኋላቸው ተከተለች።

    9መለከቶቹን የሚነፉ ካህናት ፊት የመሣሪያ የለበሱ ወታደሮች ይጓዙ ነበር፤ የኋላ ጠባቂ ክፍልም ከታቦቱ በኋላ ይመጣ ነበር፤ ካህናቱ ሲሄዱ መለከቶቹንም ይነፉ ነበር።

    10ኢያሱም ሕዝቡን እንዲህ ብሎ አዘዘ፦ እስክዬ ድረስ አትጮኹ፤ በድምጻችሁ ድምጽ አታወጡ፤ ከአፋችሁም ቃል አይወጣ፤ እኔ እንድትጮኹ እል በምል ቀን ግን ትጮኻላችሁ።

    11እንግዲህ የእግዚአብሔር ታቦት ከተማውን አንድ ጊዜ በዙር አለፈች፤ ከዚያም ወደ ሰፈር ተመለሱና በሰፈሩ ተደርጓል።

    12ኢያሱም ጠዋት ማለዳ ተነሣ፤ ካህናቱም የእግዚአብሔርን ታቦት ወሰዱ።

    13ሰባት ካህናት በእግዚአብሔር ታቦት ፊት ከአውራ በግ ቀንዶች የተሠሩ ሰባት መለከቶች ተሸክሞ ያለቀስ ይጓዙ ነበር፥ መለከቶቹንም ይነፉ ነበር፤ የመሣሪያ የለበሱ ወታደሮች ፊታቸው ይጓዙ ነበር፤ የኋላ ጠባቂ ክፍል ግን ከእግዚአብሔር ታቦት በኋላ ይመጣ ነበር፤ ካህናቱ ሲሄዱ መለከቶቹን ይነፉ ነበር።
