  • Eph 2:11-22 : 11 Therefore, remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh—who are called 'the uncircumcision' by those who are called 'the circumcision,' which is done in the flesh by human hands— 12 were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus, you who were once far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has broken down in His flesh the dividing wall of hostility. 15 He has abolished the law with its commandments and regulations, so that He might create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross, by which He put their hostility to death. 17 He came and proclaimed peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. 19 So then, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God's household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. 21 In Him the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling place for God in the Spirit.
