- Rom 8:28-39 : 28 And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those He predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified; and those He justified, He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: 'For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.' 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor rulers, neither powers, neither things present nor things to come, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Gal 3:14-17 : 14 He redeemed us so that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. 15 Brothers and sisters, let me take an example from everyday life: Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly ratified, so it is in this case. 16 Now to Abraham the promises were spoken, and to his seed. It does not say, 'and to seeds,' as if referring to many, but, 'and to your seed,' meaning one, who is Christ. 17 This is what I mean: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus cancel the promise.

- Gen 17:7-9 : 7 I will establish My covenant as an everlasting covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. 8 And I will give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are now living as a foreigner—all the land of Canaan—as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. 9 Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come. 10 This is My covenant, which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. 11 You are to circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and it will be the sign of the covenant between Me and you. 12 Every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, both those born in your household and those bought with money from any foreigner who is not your descendant. 13 Every male born in your household or bought with your money must be circumcised. Thus, My covenant will be in your flesh as an everlasting covenant.
