  • Heb 1:1-6 : 1 Long ago, at many times and in various ways, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets. 2 But in these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He also created the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His nature, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So He became as much superior to the angels as the name He has inherited is more excellent than theirs. 5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, 'You are My Son; today I have become Your Father'? Or again, 'I will be His Father, and He will be My Son'? 6 And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says, 'Let all God's angels worship Him.'
  • Heb 3:1-6 : 1 Therefore, holy brothers and sisters who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest whom we confess. 2 He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God's house. 3 For Jesus has been found worthy of greater glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. 4 For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. 5 Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant, to testify to what would be spoken later. 6 But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we boast.
  • Heb 7:23-26 : 23 Now there have been many priests since death prevented them from continuing in office; 24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. 25 Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. 26 Such a high priest truly meets our need: one who is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.

  • John 1:14-18 : 14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. • John 15:1-8 : 1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and show yourselves to be my disciples.
