4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5but after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up for thyself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6who will render to every man according to his works:
17But if, while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a minister of sin? God forbid.
26for the showing, [I say], of his righteousness at this present season: that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him that hath faith in Jesus.
3Doth God pervert justice? Or doth the Almighty pervert righteousness?

9For if the ministration of condemnation hath glory, much rather doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
18So then as through one trespass [the judgment came] unto all men to condemnation; even so through one act of righteousness [the free gift came] unto all men to justification of life.
21Him who knew no sin he made [to be] sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
11So that men shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: Verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.
15What then? shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? God forbid.
8Wilt thou even annul my judgment? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?

5For Job hath said, I am righteous, And God hath taken away my right:
19Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath [of God] : for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord.
18And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?
2For if Abraham was justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not toward God.
30For we know him that said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
2Thinkest thou this to be [thy] right, [Or] sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God's,
16And not as through one that sinned, [so] is the gift: for the judgment [came] of one unto condemnation, but the free gift [came] of many trespasses unto justification.
1If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, and [the judges] judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked;
31Who shall declare his way to his face? And who shall repay him what he hath done?
19Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he still find fault? For who withstandeth his will?
