21I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie comes from the truth.
5You are all children of the light and children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.
23But if your eye is unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
6We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this, we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
35See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness.
36So if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it is dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you.
