7While Obadiah was walking along the road, Elijah met him. Obadiah recognized him, bowed to the ground, and said, "Is it really you, my lord Elijah?"

16So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him, and Ahab went to meet Elijah.

18'Get up and go down to meet Ahab, king of Israel, who rules in Samaria. He is now in Naboth’s vineyard, where he has gone to take possession of it.
1After many days, the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, "Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land."
2So Elijah went to appear before Ahab. The famine in Samaria was severe.

4Therefore, this is what the LORD says: 'You will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will surely die.' And Elijah departed.
20Ahab said to Elijah, 'So, have you found me, my enemy?' 'I have found you,' he answered, 'because you have devoted yourself to doing evil in the eyes of the LORD.'
15Now I have come to speak this word to my lord the king because the people have made me afraid. Your servant thought, 'I will speak to the king—perhaps the king will grant the request of his servant.
16For the king will hear me and deliver me from the hand of the man who seeks to destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God.'
9Then the king sent a captain with his fifty men to Elijah. He went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of the hill, and said to him, 'Man of God, the king says, "Come down."'
40Then Elijah said to them, "Seize the prophets of Baal. Do not let any of them escape." So they seized them, and Elijah brought them down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered them there.
41Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.
18She said to Elijah, "What have I to do with you, man of God? Have you come to bring my sin to remembrance and to kill my son?"

13Meanwhile, a prophet approached Ahab, king of Israel, and said, 'This is what the LORD says: Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and you will know that I am the LORD.'
22Then Elijah said to the people, "I alone am left as a prophet of the LORD, but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men.
8Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
17Anyone who escapes the sword of Hazael will be put to death by Jehu, and anyone who escapes the sword of Jehu will be put to death by Elisha.
46The hand of the LORD came upon Elijah, and he tucked his cloak into his belt and ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.
11Once again, the king sent another captain with fifty men to Elijah. The captain approached and said to him, 'Man of God, the king says, "Come down quickly!"'
31He said, "May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if the head of Elisha son of Shaphat remains on his shoulders today!"
4Then Elijah said to him, "Please stay here, for the LORD has sent me to Jericho." But Elisha replied, "As the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So they went to Jericho.
