12 But I, your servant, fear that if I leave, the Spirit of the LORD will carry you off to some place I don't know, and when I go to tell Ahab and he cannot find you, he will kill me. Yet I, your servant, have feared the LORD from my youth.
27 When Ahab heard these words, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth, and fasted. He lay in sackcloth and went about meekly.
28 Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
29 'Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before Me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring disaster during his lifetime; but in the days of his son, I will bring disaster on his house.'
17 Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
18 'Get up and go down to meet Ahab, king of Israel, who rules in Samaria. He is now in Naboth’s vineyard, where he has gone to take possession of it.
1 After many days, the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, "Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land."
2 So Elijah went to appear before Ahab. The famine in Samaria was severe.

20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel.
21 Elijah approached all the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal is God, follow him." But the people said nothing.
13 Meanwhile, a prophet approached Ahab, king of Israel, and said, 'This is what the LORD says: Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and you will know that I am the LORD.'
14 Then Ahab asked, 'By whom will this be accomplished?' The prophet replied, 'This is what the LORD says: By the young men of the provincial leaders.' Ahab further asked, 'Who will start the battle?' The prophet answered, 'You will.'
36 At the time of the evening offering, Elijah the prophet approached and said, "LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known today that You are God in Israel, that I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your command.
3 But the angel of the LORD told Elijah the Tishbite, 'Go up and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and say to them, "Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?"'
18 She said to Elijah, "What have I to do with you, man of God? Have you come to bring my sin to remembrance and to kill my son?"
13 When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak, went out, and stood at the entrance of the cave. Then a voice came to him, saying, 'What are you doing here, Elijah?'
9 There he went into a cave and spent the night. The word of the LORD came to him, saying, 'What are you doing here, Elijah?'

19 And the LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab king of Israel into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?' One suggested this, and another that.
13 Elisha said to the king of Israel, "What do we have to do with each other? Go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother." But the king of Israel said to him, "No, because it is the LORD who has called these three kings together to hand them over to Moab."
24 Then the woman said to Elijah, 'Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in your mouth is truth.'
21 When the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, "My father, should I kill them? Should I kill them?"
11 The king of Aram became very upset about this. He called his servants and said to them, "Will you not tell me who among us is on the side of the king of Israel?"
17 When Jehu arrived in Samaria, he struck down all who remained of Ahab’s household in Samaria until he had destroyed them, according to the word of the LORD spoken through Elijah.
