8The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, 'There is still one man through whom we can inquire of the LORD, but I hate him because he never prophesies anything good about me, only bad. His name is Micaiah son of Imlah.' Jehoshaphat replied, 'The king should not say such a thing.'
9So the king of Israel called an officer and said, 'Quickly bring Micaiah son of Imlah.'
10The king of Israel and Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, were sitting on their thrones, dressed in their royal robes, at the threshing floor at the entrance to the gate of Samaria, while all the prophets were prophesying in front of them.

14But Micaiah said, 'As surely as the LORD lives, I can only speak what the LORD tells me.'
15When Micaiah arrived before the king, the king said to him, 'Micaiah, should we go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or should we refrain?' Micaiah answered, 'Go and succeed, for the LORD will give it into the king’s hand.'
16But the king said to him, 'How many times must I make you swear to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?'
17Then Micaiah said, 'I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a shepherd. And the LORD said, “These people have no master; each one should go home in peace.”'

14Elisha replied, "As surely as the LORD of Hosts lives, whom I serve, were it not for the presence of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, I would not pay attention to you or even look at you."

15He said: 'Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.'
16Now then, stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes.
32When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they thought, 'Surely this is the king of Israel.' So they turned to attack him. But Jehoshaphat cried out for help.
6He said: 'LORD, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, and no one can withstand you.'
