13 Hezekiah listened to them and showed them his entire treasury—the silver, the gold, the spices, the fine oil, and all the storehouse of his weapons. There was nothing in his palace or in his whole kingdom that Hezekiah did not show them.

6 I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city.
2 Hezekiah was pleased with them, and he showed them everything in his treasure house—the silver, the gold, the spices, the fine oil, all his armory, and everything in his storehouses. There was nothing in his palace or in his entire kingdom that Hezekiah did not show them.
3 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and asked him, "What did these men say, and where did they come from?" Hezekiah replied, "They came to me from a distant land, from Babylon."

6 'Behold, the days are coming when everything in your palace, and all that your fathers have stored up until this day, will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left,' says the LORD.
4 Perhaps the Lord your God will hear all the words of the Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria, his master, has sent to taunt the living God, and will rebuke him for the words that the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, lift up a prayer for the remnant that survives."
5 When King Hezekiah's servants came to Isaiah,
6 Isaiah said to them, "Tell your master, 'This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid of the words you have heard, which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me with.'
4 Before Isaiah had gone out of the middle courtyard, the word of the LORD came to him:
8 Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The word of the LORD that you have spoken is good," for he thought, "There will be peace and security in my days."
21 Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah, saying, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Because you have prayed to Me about Sennacherib king of Assyria,

15 And Hezekiah prayed to the LORD, saying:

10 "This is what you are to say to King Hezekiah of Judah: Do not let your God, whom you trust, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.
11 You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the lands by utterly destroying them. Will you be delivered?
14 Hezekiah received the letters from the messengers, read them, went up to the Lord's house, and spread them out before the Lord.
10 "This is what you are to say to Hezekiah king of Judah: 'Do not let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.'
11 You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the lands, destroying them completely. Will you then be delivered?
16 Incline Your ear, Lord, and hear; open Your eyes, Lord, and see; listen to the words Sennacherib has sent to taunt the living God.
17 Incline Your ear, LORD, and hear! Open Your eyes, LORD, and see! Listen to all the words of Sennacherib, who has sent them to mock the living God.
18 Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations and their lands.
22 Hezekiah had asked, "What will be the sign that I will go up to the house of the Lord?"
18 Do not let Hezekiah mislead you by saying, ‘The LORD will deliver us.’ Have the gods of any nations ever delivered their lands from the hand of the king of Assyria?
9 After this, while Sennacherib king of Assyria was at Lachish with all his forces, he sent his officials to Jerusalem to Hezekiah king of Judah and to all the people of Judah who were there, saying:
15 So Hezekiah gave all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD and in the treasuries of the king's house.
18 As for the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, you shall say to him: ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Regarding the words you have heard,
11 To the house of the king of Judah: Hear the word of the LORD.
26 But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, this is what you shall say to him: 'This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard:
1 When King Hezekiah heard this, he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.
2 He sent Eliakim, who was in charge of the palace, Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, all clothed in sackcloth, to the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz.
