Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah, saying, 'This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I have heard your prayer concerning Sennacherib king of Assyria.'

19 But now, Lord our God, save us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You alone, Lord, are God.
14 Hezekiah received the letters from the messengers, read them, and went up to the house of the LORD. There he spread them out before the LORD.
15 And Hezekiah prayed to the LORD, saying:

6 I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city.
4 Perhaps the Lord your God will hear all the words of the Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria, his master, has sent to taunt the living God, and will rebuke him for the words that the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, lift up a prayer for the remnant that survives."
5 When King Hezekiah's servants came to Isaiah,
6 Isaiah said to them, "Tell your master, 'This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid of the words you have heard, which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me with.'
7 Behold, I will send a spirit upon him; he will hear a report, return to his own land, and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
5 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the LORD of Armies:
4 Before Isaiah had gone out of the middle courtyard, the word of the LORD came to him:
5 "Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of My people: This is what the LORD, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to the house of the LORD.
6 I will add fifteen years to your life. I will rescue you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for My sake and for the sake of My servant David."
4 Perhaps the LORD your God will hear the words of the Rabshakeh, whom his master, the king of Assyria, has sent to mock the living God, and will rebuke him for the words that the LORD your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for the remnant that still survives.
5 So the servants of King Hezekiah went to Isaiah.
6 Isaiah said to them, "This is what you are to say to your master: This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid because of the words you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
20 King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz prayed about this and cried out to heaven.
9 Now the king of Assyria heard concerning Tirhakah king of Cush, who had set out to fight against him. So he sent messengers again to Hezekiah, saying,
10 "This is what you are to say to Hezekiah king of Judah: 'Do not let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.'
11 You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the lands, destroying them completely. Will you then be delivered?
1 In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill, and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz came to him and said, "This is what the LORD says: Set your house in order, for you are going to die; you will not recover."
2 Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,
18 As for the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, you shall say to him: ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Regarding the words you have heard,
19 Because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I spoke against this place and its inhabitants—that they would become a desolation and a curse—and because you tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you, declares the LORD.
19 Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The word of the LORD that you have spoken is good," for he thought, "Will there not be peace and security in my lifetime?"
20 And the LORD heard Hezekiah and healed the people.
9 Now the king of Assyria heard about Tirhakah, king of Cush, who was coming to fight against him. So he again sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,
10 "This is what you are to say to King Hezekiah of Judah: Do not let your God, whom you trust, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.
11 You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the lands by utterly destroying them. Will you be delivered?
9 After this, while Sennacherib king of Assyria was at Lachish with all his forces, he sent his officials to Jerusalem to Hezekiah king of Judah and to all the people of Judah who were there, saying:
14 Then the prophet Isaiah went to King Hezekiah and asked, "What did these men say, and where did they come from?" Hezekiah replied, "They came from a distant land—from Babylon."
26 But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, this is what you shall say to him: 'This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard:
27 Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before God when you heard His words against this place and its inhabitants, and because you tore your clothes and wept in My presence, I have heard you,' declares the LORD.
21 This is the word that the Lord has spoken against him: 'The Virgin Daughter Zion despises you and mocks you; the Daughter Jerusalem tosses her head at you as you flee.'
3 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and asked him, "What did these men say, and where did they come from?" Hezekiah replied, "They came to me from a distant land, from Babylon."
2 Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD.
22 So the LORD saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.
1 When King Hezekiah heard this, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth, and went into the house of the Lord.
