24 Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you: Break off your sins by pursuing righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed. Perhaps there will be a lengthening of your prosperity.
25 All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar.
26 At the end of twelve months, as he was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon,
30 Immediately, what was spoken about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people, ate grass like cattle, and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.
31 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me. I praised the Most High, honored, and glorified Him who lives forever: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation.
32 All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as He pleases with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, 'What have You done?'
26 I issue a decree that in all my royal dominion, people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God and He endures forever; His kingdom will never be destroyed, and His dominion will have no end.
34 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and glorify the King of Heaven, because all His works are true and His ways are just. He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
36 The king will do as he pleases; he will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will speak astonishing words against the God of gods. He will prosper until the indignation is completed, for what has been decreed will be accomplished.
21 He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.
28 Nebuchadnezzar declared, 'Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him, defied the king’s command, and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.
29 Therefore I issue a decree that any people, nation, or language that speaks against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut into pieces and their houses reduced to rubble, for no other god can save in this way.'

5 At that very moment, the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote.

23 Instead, you have exalted yourself against the Lord of heaven. You had the vessels from His house brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives, and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which cannot see, hear, or understand. But the God who holds your breath in His hand and controls all your ways, you have not glorified.
24 Therefore, He sent the hand that wrote this inscription.
3 Then a mighty king will arise, and he will rule with great authority and do as he pleases.
4 But as soon as he has risen, his kingdom will be broken apart and divided toward the four winds of heaven. It will not go to his descendants and will not have the same authority he ruled with, for his kingdom will be uprooted and given to others.
27 Then the kingdom and dominion and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the holy ones of the Most High. Their kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will serve and obey them.
28 Even as the words were on the king's lips, a voice came from heaven: ‘O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared: The kingdom has departed from you!'
11 There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the days of your father, he was found to have insight, intelligence, and wisdom like that of the gods. Your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, appointed him chief of the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and diviners.
3 I issued a decree to bring all the wise men of Babylon before me, so they could interpret my dream for me.
12 Wealth and honor come from you, and you rule over everything. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.
7 Who should not fear You, King of the nations? This is Your due. Among all the wise ones of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like You.
47 The king spoke to Daniel, saying, "Truly, your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery."
48 Then the king made Daniel great, gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and chief over all the wise men of Babylon.

6 Now I have handed over all these lands to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, my servant. I have even given him the wild animals to serve him.
7 Therefore, as soon as they heard the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, and all kinds of music, all the nations, peoples, and languages fell down and worshiped the golden statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
