It will be rebuilt with streets and a moat, but in difficult times. 26 After the sixty-two weeks, the Anointed One will be cut off and have nothing. The end will come like a flood, and desolation has been decreed until the end of the war. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week, he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.
