18I declare to you today that you shall surely perish and will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.
19I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore, choose life, so that you and your descendants may live,
13The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you will only go upwards and not downwards, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God that I am commanding you today, to observe and to do them.
14You must not turn aside from any of the words I am commanding you today, neither to the right nor to the left, to follow other gods and serve them.
15But if you will not listen to the voice of the LORD your God and carefully follow all His commandments and statutes I am commanding you today, then all these curses will come upon you and overtake you.
16Cursed will you be in the city, and cursed will you be in the field.
17Cursed will be your basket and your kneading bowl.
32Be careful to keep all the statutes and ordinances that I am setting before you today.
25No one will be able to stand against you; the LORD your God will put the fear and dread of you upon all the land where you set foot, as He has promised you.
3Say to them, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Cursed is the one who does not listen to the words of this covenant.
17Then the LORD’s anger will burn against you, and He will shut up the heavens so that there will be no rain, and the land will yield no produce. Then you will soon perish from the good land the LORD is giving you.
18Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds. Tie them as reminders on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
45All these curses will come upon you, pursue you, and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the LORD your God by keeping His commandments and statutes that He commanded you.
46These curses will become a sign and a wonder against you and your descendants forever.
1If you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God by carefully keeping all His commandments that I am commanding you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.
2All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you listen to the voice of the LORD your God.
19Cursed will you be when you come in, and cursed will you be when you go out.
20The LORD will send curses, confusion, and rebuke in everything you undertake until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil of your deeds, by which you have forsaken Me.
26I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that you will surely be quickly destroyed from the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess. You will not extend your days there but will be utterly destroyed.
8The LORD will command the blessing on your storehouses and on all you set your hand to do. He will bless you in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.
2If you do not listen and if you do not take it to heart to honor My name, says the Lord of Hosts, I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them because you do not take it to heart.
15But just as all the good things the LORD your God promised you have come to pass, so too the LORD will bring upon you the bad things He threatened, until He has destroyed you from this good land that the LORD your God has given you.
8And you will again obey the LORD and follow all His commandments that I am giving you today.
10Obey the voice of the LORD your God and follow His commandments and statutes that I am giving you today.
11That day Moses gave this command to the people:
13If you indeed obey my commandments that I am giving you today—to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul—
11Therefore, you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the ordinances that I am giving you today to follow.
6Now, please come and curse this people for me, because they are too powerful for me. Perhaps I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that whoever you bless is blessed, and whoever you curse is cursed.
9All of you are standing today before the LORD your God—your leaders, your tribes, your elders, your officers, every man of Israel.
10Your children, your wives, and the resident foreigner who lives among your camps, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water.
2Know today that it was not your children, who did not know and have not seen, but you who witnessed the discipline of the LORD your God—His greatness, His strong hand, and His outstretched arm.
16Today the LORD your God commands you to follow these statutes and judgments; therefore, you must be careful to keep them with all your heart and with all your soul.
17Today you have declared that the LORD will be your God, that you will walk in His ways, keep His statutes, commandments, and judgments, and obey His voice.
11Be careful not to forget the Lord your God by failing to keep His commandments, judgments, and statutes that I am commanding you today.
13and to keep the commandments of the LORD and His statutes that I am commanding you today for your own good?
12He is confirming you today as His people, and He will be your God, just as He promised you and swore to your ancestors—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
27In His anger and great wrath, the LORD uprooted them from their land and cast them into another land, as it is today.
8Now you shall also say to this people: "Thus says the LORD: Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death.
17Gather all the spoil of that city into its public square and burn the city and all its plunder as a complete offering to the LORD your God. It must remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt.
8Therefore, keep every commandment I am giving you today, so that you may be strong and go in and take possession of the land that you are crossing over to inherit.
24"The LORD bless you and keep you;
6The LORD said to me, ‘Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Listen to the words of this covenant and do them.’
19He will set you high above all the nations He has made, bringing you praise, fame, and honor. And you will be a holy people to the LORD your God, as He has promised.
26'Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God. There it will remain as a witness against you.
