19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
22 You are to let your children know: 'Israel crossed the Jordan here on dry ground.'
21 so that your days and the days of your children may be prolonged in the land that the LORD swore to give to your ancestors, as long as the heavens are above the earth.
38 He drove out nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you into their land and to give it to you as an inheritance, as it is today.
39 So know today and take it to heart that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.
40 Keep His statutes and commandments that I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you, and that you may live long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you for all time.

46 he said to them: Set your hearts on all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law.
13 If you indeed obey my commandments that I am giving you today—to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul—

8 On that day, you are to tell your son, 'It is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.'
10 The LORD responded, "I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will perform wonders never before done in any nation or all the earth. All the people among whom you live will see the work of the LORD, for it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.
8 So the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror, and with signs and wonders.
