4Your territory will stretch from the wilderness and this Lebanon to the great river, the Euphrates River—all the land of the Hittites—and westward to the Great Sea, where the sun sets.
8And what great nation has righteous statutes and judgments like this entire law that I am setting before you today?
1These are the statutes and ordinances that you must carefully observe in the land that the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has given you to possess, for as long as you live on the earth.
10When the LORD your God brings you into the land He swore to your ancestors—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to you, with cities great and good that you did not build,
18At that time I commanded you: 'The LORD your God has given you this land to take possession of it. All your fighting men, fully armed, must cross over ahead of your fellow Israelites.'
7Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel: 'Be strong and courageous, for you will bring this people into the land that the LORD swore to their ancestors to give them, and you shall divide it among them as their inheritance.'
