3Tell it to your children, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation.

7Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel: 'Be strong and courageous, for you will bring this people into the land that the LORD swore to their ancestors to give them, and you shall divide it among them as their inheritance.'
8Now, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the LORD, and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek all the commandments of the LORD your God so that you may possess this good land and leave it as an inheritance for your descendants forever.
29Oh, that their hearts would always fear Me and keep all My commands, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!
51'Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
1Be meticulous in observing all the commandments that I am commanding you today, so that you may live, multiply, enter, and take possession of the land which the Lord swore to your fathers.
19Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

9And so that you may live long in the land the LORD swore to give to your ancestors and their descendants—a land flowing with milk and honey.

6This will serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’
