13I also shook out the fold of my garment and said, 'May God likewise shake out every man who does not uphold this promise from his home and his possessions. Let him be shaken out and left empty!' The entire assembly said, 'Amen,' and they praised the LORD. And the people did as they had promised.
2Moses spoke to the leaders of the tribes of Israel, saying, 'This is what the LORD has commanded:'
22May this water that brings a curse enter your body, causing your abdomen to swell and your thigh to waste away.' And the woman shall say, 'Amen, Amen.'
16For anyone who does these things, anyone who deals dishonestly, is detestable to the LORD your God.
20The LORD will single them out for disaster from all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant written in this Book of the Law.
21Future generations—your children who come after you and the foreigner who comes from a distant country—will see the calamities that have fallen on the land and the diseases with which the LORD has afflicted it.
7Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They said, "We will do everything the LORD has said; we will obey."
