And King David also rejoiced greatly. 10 David praised the LORD in the presence of the whole assembly, saying, "Blessed are you, LORD, the God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting." 11 Yours, LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty; indeed, everything in the heavens and on the earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom, and you are exalted as head over all. 12 Wealth and honor come from you, and you rule over everything. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. 13 Now, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name. 14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give so generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. 15 For we are strangers and temporary residents before you, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope. 16 LORD our God, all this abundance that we have provided to build you a house for your holy name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you. 17 I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity. He prospered, and all of Israel obeyed him. 24 All the officials, the mighty men, and all of King David’s sons pledged their allegiance to King Solomon. 25 The LORD greatly exalted Solomon in the sight of all Israel, and gave him royal majesty greater than that of any king before him in Israel. 26 David son of Jesse was king over all Israel. 27 He ruled over Israel for forty years: seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem. 28 David died at a good old age, having enjoyed a full life of days, riches, and honor. His son Solomon succeeded him as king. 29 The acts of King David, from the first to the last, are written in the records of Samuel the seer, Nathan the prophet, and Gad the seer. 30 These records include details about his reign, his might, and the events that affected him, Israel, and all the kingdoms of the surrounding lands.

The leaders presented their offerings in front of the altar. 11 The LORD said to Moses, “Let one leader each day present his offering for the dedication of the altar.” 12 The one who presented his offering on the first day was Nahshon, son of Amminadab, from the tribe of Judah. 13 His offering was one silver dish weighing 130 shekels and one silver basin weighing 70 shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, and filled with fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering. 14 One golden dish weighing 10 shekels, filled with incense. 15 One young bull, one ram, and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering. 16 One male goat for a sin offering. 17 For the sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five year-old lambs. This was the offering of Ahira, son of Enan. 84 This was the dedication offering for the altar on the day it was anointed, presented by the leaders of Israel: twelve silver dishes, twelve silver basins, and twelve golden dishes. 85 Each silver dish weighed 130 shekels, and each silver basin weighed 70 shekels, all according to the sanctuary shekel. The total amount of silver of the vessels was 2,400 shekels according to the sanctuary shekel. 86 The twelve golden dishes filled with incense each weighed ten shekels according to the sanctuary shekel, for a total of 120 shekels of gold. 87 The total offerings for burnt offerings included twelve bulls, twelve rams, and twelve yearling male lambs along with their grain offerings, and twelve male goats as sin offerings. 88 The sacrifice of peace offerings included twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty male goats, and sixty yearling lambs. These were the dedication offerings for the altar after it was anointed.
