29Out of all your gifts, you must present the very best part, the sacred portion, as an offering to the LORD.

2Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land where you will live, which I am giving to you,
3and if you present an offering by fire to the Lord—a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a vow, or as a freewill offering, or at your appointed festivals—to create a pleasing aroma for the Lord, from the herd or the flock,

26Speak to the Levites and say to them: When you receive from the Israelites the tithe I have given you as your inheritance, you must present a contribution from it to the LORD—a tithe of the tithe.
5and said to Moses, "The people are bringing more than enough for the work the Lord has commanded us to do."
4However, the high places were not removed; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.
9A proclamation was issued throughout Judah and Jerusalem to bring to the Lord the tax Moses, the servant of God, had imposed on Israel in the wilderness.

17I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity. In the uprightness of my heart, I have freely offered all these things; and now I have seen your people, who are present here, joyfully and willingly give to you.

29'Take it from their half and give it to Eleazar the priest as a contribution to the LORD.'
28I said to them, 'You are holy to the LORD, and the vessels are holy. The silver and gold are a freewill offering to the LORD, the God of your ancestors.'
