5 So it grew taller than all the trees of the field; its branches multiplied, and its boughs grew long because of the abundance of water as it sent them out.
6 All the birds of the sky nested in its branches, every beast of the field gave birth under its boughs, and all the great nations lived in its shade.
7 It was majestic in its size, with long branches, because its roots reached abundant waters.
8 The cedars in God's garden could not rival it; the cypresses could not compare to its branches, and the plane trees were not like its boughs. No tree in the garden of God was equal to it in beauty.

For they have all been consigned to death, to the lower earth, among the sons of men, with those who go down to the pit.
7 I will send destroyers against you, each with his weapons. They will cut down your choice cedars and throw them into the fire.
14 This decision is by the decree of the watchers and the sentence by the command of the holy ones, in order that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men, and He gives them to whomever He will and sets the lowliest of men over them.
33 Behold, the Lord, the LORD of Hosts, will lop off the branches with terrifying power. The tall trees will be cut down, and the lofty ones will be humbled.
5 For before the harvest, when the blossom is gone and the flower becomes a ripening grape, the branches will be cut with pruning knives, and the spreading branches will be removed and discarded.
6 Yet gleanings will remain, like an olive tree that is beaten: two or three berries at the top of the highest branch, four or five on its fruitful branches, declares the LORD, the God of Israel.

15 God of Hosts, return! Look down from heaven and see; take care of this vine.

9 In that day, their strong cities will be like the forsaken places of the wooded heights and hilltops that were abandoned because of the Israelites, and there will be desolation.
24 Through your servants you have mocked the Lord. You have said, "With my many chariots I have ascended the heights of the mountains, the utmost parts of Lebanon. I have cut down its tallest cedars and its choicest cypress trees. I have reached its remotest heights, the densest of its forests.
