8 I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have completed the days of your siege.

4 "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Behold, I am turning back the weapons of war in your hands, with which you are fighting against the king of Babylon and the Chaldeans who are besieging you outside the walls. I will gather them into the midst of this city.
3 I will encamp in a circle against you, I will besiege you with towers, and I will raise siegeworks against you.

8 'Your villages in the countryside will be killed by the sword, and he will build siege walls against you, raise a siege ramp against you, and set up a shield wall against you.'
