3 In the eighteenth year of King Josiah's reign, the king sent Shaphan, son of Azaliah and grandson of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the LORD, saying,
6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words to Zedekiah, king of Judah, in Jerusalem.
7 Nebuchadnezzar also brought some of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon and placed them in his temple in Babylon.
3 Within two years, I will bring back to this place all the articles of the LORD's house that Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, took from here and carried to Babylon.
5 But the Chaldean army pursued them, overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, captured him, and brought him to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he pronounced judgment on him.
3 All the officials of the king of Babylon came and took seats in the Middle Gate: Nergal-Sharezer, Samgar-Nebo, Sarsekim the chief officer, Nergal-Sharezer the chief magician, along with the rest of the officials of the king of Babylon.
2 On the sealed document were Nehemiah the governor, son of Hacaliah, and Zedekiah.
