He will strike them down with the edge of the sword without pity, without sparing, and without mercy.
8 The Chaldeans set fire to the palace of the king and the houses of the people and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
28 Therefore, this is what the LORD says: 'I am about to give this city into the hands of the Chaldeans, into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will capture it.'
8 But any nation or kingdom that will not serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon or place its neck under his yoke—I will punish that nation with sword, famine, and plague, declares the LORD, until I destroy it by his hand.
