47Yet I will restore the fortunes of Moab in the latter days, declares the LORD. Here ends the judgment on Moab.
5The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers,
14Fire went out from its branch, consuming its fruit. There was no strong rod left in it, no scepter fit to rule. This is a lamentation, and it has become a lamentation.

14But now the LORD has spoken, saying: In three years, as precisely as the years of a hired worker, the glory of Moab, along with its great multitude, will be brought into contempt. Only a small and insignificant remnant will remain, not mighty at all.
