  • 18I said in my heart concerning the matter of the sons of man, that God is testing them to show them that they are like animals.

  • 2I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter mysteries from ancient times.

  • 20Have I not written for you thirty sayings of counsel and knowledge?

  • 20Only grant me these two things, so that I will not hide myself from You:

  • 3Why do You make me see wrongdoing and observe trouble? Destruction and violence are before me; strife and contention arise.
