2How long will you torment my soul and crush me with words?
7But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by mankind and despised by the people.
1I am the man who has seen affliction under the rod of His wrath.
10Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me; I too will declare what I know.’
17I too will give my answer; I will express my opinion as well.
7There the upright could reason with him, and I would be delivered forever from my judge.
3Then Job answered the LORD and said:
2How long will you keep putting an end to words? Consider, and then we will speak.
23Listen and hear my voice. Pay attention and hear my words.
5If you can, answer me; prepare yourself before me and take your stand.
9Would it be well when He examines you? Could you deceive Him as you deceive a mortal?
