Job 27:2
As surely as God lives, who has denied me justice, and the Almighty, who has made my soul bitter,

2If only my grief could be weighed and my calamity placed together on the scales!
14Why should I take my flesh in my teeth and put my life in my hands?
15Though He slay me, yet I will hope in Him. Nevertheless, I will defend my ways before Him.
19Who can contend with me? For now, if I am silent, I will perish.
4The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
11Therefore, I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.

3For the enemy has pursued me, crushing my life to the ground and making me dwell in darkness, like those long dead.

7Behold, I cry out, 'Violence!' but I am not answered; I call for help, but there is no justice.

13Indeed, there is no help in me, and ability has been driven from me.
9That God would be willing to crush me, to let loose His hand and cut me off!
1Then Job answered and said:
39if I have eaten its produce without payment and caused the death of its owners,
1My spirit is broken, my days have faded away, and the grave is ready for me.
