    1After this, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way.

    2Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.

    3Simon Peter said to them, 'I am going fishing.' They said to him, 'We will come with you.' So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

    4At dawn, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize it was Jesus.

    5Jesus said to them, 'Children, do you have any fish?' They answered him, 'No.'

    6He said to them, 'Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.' So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in because of the large number of fish.

    7Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, 'It is the Lord!' When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tied his outer garment around himself (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the sea.

    8The other disciples came in the small boat, pulling the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about two hundred cubits away.

    9When they got out on the land, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish on it, and some bread.

    10Jesus said to them, 'Bring some of the fish you have just caught.'

    11Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net to shore. It was filled with large fish, 153 in total. Even with so many fish, the net was not torn.
