Present it to the priest, who shall take it to the altar. 9 The priest shall take a portion of the grain offering as its memorial portion and burn it on the altar. It is an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. 10 The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made by fire to the LORD. 11 Every grain offering you bring to the LORD must be made without yeast, for you are not to burn any yeast or honey as an offering made by fire to the LORD. 12 You may bring them to the LORD as an offering of firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma. 13 Season all your grain offerings with salt. All the fat belongs to the LORD. 17 This is a permanent statute for your generations in all your dwelling places: You must not eat any fat or blood. 1 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 2 Speak to the Israelites, saying: If any person sins unintentionally by doing something against any of the commandments of the LORD that should not be done and breaks one of them, 3 if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt upon the people, he must offer a young bull without defect to the LORD as a sin offering for the sin he has committed. 4 He shall bring the bull to the entrance of the tent of meeting before the LORD, lay his hand on the bull’s head, and slaughter it before the LORD. 5 Then the anointed priest is to take some of the bull’s blood and bring it into the tent of meeting. 6 The priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, in front of the veil of the sanctuary. 7 The priest is to put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense before the LORD in the tent of meeting, and he shall pour out all the remaining blood of the bull at the base of the altar for burnt offerings, which is at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 8 He shall remove all the fat from the bull of the sin offering—the fat that covers the inner parts or is on them, 9 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which he will remove along with the kidneys. 10 He shall do this just as it is done with the fat of a fellowship offering, and the priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering. 11 But the hide of the bull, all its flesh, its head, its legs, its internal organs, and its dung— 12 the entire bull he must take outside the camp to a clean place, to the ash heap, and burn it on a wood fire. It must be burned on the ash heap. 13 If the entire assembly of Israel sins unintentionally and the matter escapes the notice of the congregation by violating one of the LORD’s commands, which should not be done, they are guilty. 14 When the sin they committed becomes known, the assembly shall offer a young bull as a sin offering and bring it before the tent of meeting. 15 The elders of the congregation are to lay their hands on the bull’s head before the LORD, and it shall be slaughtered before the LORD. 16 Then the anointed priest shall bring some of the bull’s blood into the tent of meeting. 17 The priest will dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD in front of the veil. 18 He is to put some of the blood on the horns of the altar that is before the LORD in the tent of meeting. He shall then pour out the remaining blood at the base of the altar for burnt offerings, which is at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 19 The priest shall remove all the fat from it and burn it on the altar. 20 He shall do with this bull just as he did with the sin offering bull; in this way, the priest will make atonement for them, and they will be forgiven. 21 Then he must take the bull outside the camp and burn it as he burned the first bull; it is the sin offering for the assembly. 22 When a leader sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the commands of the LORD his God, he becomes guilty. 23 When he becomes aware of the sin he has committed, he must bring as his offering a male goat without defect. 24 He shall lay his hand on the goat’s head and slaughter it at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered before the LORD. It is a sin offering. 25 The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offerings. Then he shall pour out all the rest of its blood at the base of the altar of burnt offerings. 26 He shall burn all the fat on the altar, just as the fat of the peace offerings. In this way, the priest will make atonement for the man's sin, and he will be forgiven. 27 If any individual from among the common people sins unintentionally by violating a command of the LORD that should not be done and becomes guilty, 28 when they become aware of the sin they have committed, they must bring as an offering a female goat without defect for the sin they have committed. 29 They are to lay their hand on the head of the sin offering and slaughter it at the place of the burnt offering. 30 The priest shall take some of its blood with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offerings, and he shall pour out all the remaining blood at the base of the altar. 31 He shall remove all its fat, just as the fat is removed from the peace offerings. In this way, the priest will make atonement for the person’s sin, and they will be forgiven. 1 If someone sins by hearing an oath and is a witness, whether they have seen it or know it, yet they do not report it, they will bear their guilt. 2 Or if someone touches anything unclean, such as the carcass of an unclean wild animal, livestock, or swarming creature, and it is hidden from them, they become unclean and guilty. 3 Or if someone touches human uncleanness, anything that makes a person unclean, and it is hidden from them but then they realize it, they become guilty. 4 Or if someone makes a rash oath to do something evil or good, whatever they may rashly utter with an oath, and it is hidden from them, but they later realize it, they are guilty in one of these cases. 5 When someone realizes their guilt in one of these matters, they must confess the sin they have committed. 6 They shall bring their guilt offering to the LORD for the sin they have committed: a female sheep or goat from the flock as a sin offering. The priest shall make atonement for them concerning their sin.
• Lev 6:9-9 : 9 What remains of the grain offering shall be eaten by Aaron and his sons. It must be eaten as unleavened bread in a holy place—in the courtyard of the Tent of Meeting they shall eat it. 10 It must not be baked with yeast. I have given it to them as their portion from my fire offerings; it is most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering. 11 Every male among Aaron's descendants may eat it. It is a perpetual statute for your generations from the LORD’s fire offerings. Anything that touches them shall become holy. 12 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 13 This is the offering that Aaron and his sons must bring to the LORD on the day of his anointing: a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a regular grain offering, half in the morning and half in the evening. 14 It shall be made on a griddle with oil. It shall be well-mixed and you shall bring it in baked pieces of the grain offering, offering it as a pleasing aroma to the LORD. 15 The anointed priest who is in his place among his sons shall prepare it. It is a perpetual statute to the LORD; it shall be burned completely. 16 Every grain offering of a priest shall be burned entirely; it shall not be eaten. 17 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 18 Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying: This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, the sin offering shall be slaughtered before the LORD. It is most holy.
• Lev 6:20-7:7 : 20 Any male among the priests may eat it. Anything that touches the flesh of the offering will become holy. If any of its blood is spattered on a garment, the garment must be washed in a holy place. 21 The clay pot in which it is boiled must be broken, but if it is boiled in a bronze pot, it must be scoured and rinsed in water. 22 Any male among the priests may eat it; it is most holy. 23 But any sin offering whose blood is brought to the Tent of Meeting to make atonement in the holy place must not be eaten; it must be burned in the fire. 1 This is the law of the guilt offering; it is most holy. 2 The guilt offering shall be slaughtered at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and its blood shall be sprinkled around the altar. 3 All its fat shall be offered, including the fat tail and the fat covering the inner parts. 4 Also, the two kidneys, the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which shall be removed with the kidneys. 5 The priest shall burn them on the altar as a food offering to the Lord; it is a guilt offering. 6 Every male among the priests may eat it. It must be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy. 7 The guilt offering is the same as the sin offering; there is one law for both. The priest who makes atonement with it shall have it.
• Lev 7:11-21 : 11 These are the instructions for the peace offerings that are presented to the Lord. 12 If it is offered as an act of thanksgiving, it shall be accompanied by unleavened bread mixed with oil, unleavened wafers spread with oil, and loaves of fine flour well-kneaded and mixed with oil. 13 With the peace offering of thanksgiving, leavened bread shall also be offered. 14 From the offering, one loaf shall be presented as a contribution to the Lord; it shall belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings. 15 The meat of the peace offering of thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day it is offered; none of it shall be left until morning. 16 But if the sacrifice he offers is a vow or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day he brings the sacrifice. Whatever is left over may be eaten on the next day. 17 But any meat of the sacrifice left over until the third day must be burned in the fire. 18 If any of the meat from the peace offering is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted; it will not be credited to the one who offered it. The meat will be considered unclean, and anyone who eats it will bear their guilt. 19 Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten. It must be burned with fire. Only those who are clean may eat the meat. 20 If anyone who is unclean eats the meat from the peace offering that belongs to the Lord, they must be cut off from their people. 21 If anyone touches something unclean, whether it is human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat from the peace offering that belongs to the Lord, they must be cut off from their people.
