Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him peace from all his enemies around: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.

6And he built fortified cities in Judah, for the land was at rest, and he had no war in those years, because the LORD had given him rest.
24David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in to her, and lay with her: she bore a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him.

21Otherwise, it shall come to pass, when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon shall be counted as offenders.
6And thus shall you say to him who lives in prosperity, Peace be to you, and peace be to your house, and peace to all that you have.
14But I will settle him in my house and in my kingdom forever: and his throne shall be established forevermore.
13He shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
32He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
11The LORD has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it: Of the fruit of your body I will set upon your throne.
