Then he himself went to Ramah, and came to the great well that is in Sechu; and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And someone said, Behold, they are at Naioth in Ramah.

    13As soon as you come into the city, you shall find him immediately, before he goes up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he comes, because he blesses the sacrifice; and afterward those who are invited eat. Now therefore go up; for about this time you shall find him.

    14And they went up to the city: and when they came into the city, behold, Samuel came out towards them, to go up to the high place.

    15Now the LORD had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying,

    26And they arose early: and it happened about the break of day, that Samuel called Saul to the top of the house, saying, Up, that I may send you away. And Saul arose, and both of them, he and Samuel, went out.

    27And as they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us, (and he passed on,) but stand still a while, that I may show you the word of God.

    12When the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice, and the woman spoke to Saul, saying, Why have you deceived me? For you are Saul.

  • 5After that you shall come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is: and it shall happen, when you come there to the city, that you shall meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tambourine, and a flute, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:

  • 17And Saul recognized David's voice and said, "Is this your voice, my son David?" And David said, "It is my voice, my lord, O king."

  • 10And it came to pass, as soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him.

  • 6And he said to him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honorable man; all that he says surely comes to pass: now let us go there; perhaps he can show us the way we should go.
