13 As soon as you come into the city, you shall find him immediately, before he goes up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he comes, because he blesses the sacrifice; and afterward those who are invited eat. Now therefore go up; for about this time you shall find him.
14 And they went up to the city: and when they came into the city, behold, Samuel came out towards them, to go up to the high place.
15 Now the LORD had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying,
25 And when they came down from the high place into the city, Samuel communed with Saul on the top of the house.
26 And they arose early: and it happened about the break of day, that Samuel called Saul to the top of the house, saying, Up, that I may send you away. And Saul arose, and both of them, he and Samuel, went out.
27 And as they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us, (and he passed on,) but stand still a while, that I may show you the word of God.

10 And when they came there to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.
11 And it came to pass, when all who knew him previously saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said to one another, What is this that has come upon the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
36 Saul said, "Let us go down after the Philistines by night and take spoil among them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man among them." They said, "Do whatever seems good to you." Then the priest said, "Let us draw near to God here."
13 And when he had finished prophesying, he came to the high place.
14 And Saul's uncle said to him and to his servant, Where did you go? And he said, To seek the donkeys: and when we saw that they were nowhere, we came to Samuel.
15 And Saul's uncle said, Tell me, please, what Samuel said to you.
22 Then he himself went to Ramah, and came to the great well that is in Sechu; and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And someone said, Behold, they are at Naioth in Ramah.
23 And he went there to Naioth in Ramah; and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.
11 And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he is praying,
26 And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.
10 Then came the word of the LORD to Samuel, saying,
5 And behold, Saul came after the herd out of the field, and Saul said, "What troubles the people, that they weep?" And they told him the news of the men of Jabesh.

31 When the words that David spoke were heard, they repeated them before Saul, and he sent for him.
7 Then Saul said to his servants, Seek me a woman with a familiar spirit, that I may go to her and inquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman with a familiar spirit at Endor.
14 Then Samuel said to the people, "Come, and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there."

13 He said to his servant, "Come, let us draw near to one of these places to lodge all night in Gibeah or in Ramah."
12 And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and behold, he set up a place for himself, and has gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.
13 And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said to him, Blessed are you of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.
19 And it was told to Saul, saying, Behold, David is at Naioth in Ramah.
4 So the young man, the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.
5 After that you shall come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is: and it shall happen, when you come there to the city, that you shall meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tambourine, and a flute, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:
7 And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you.
3 And the donkeys of Kish, Saul's father, were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take now one of the servants with you, and arise, go seek the donkeys.
18 Saul said to Ahijah, "Bring here the ark of God," for the ark of God was at that time with the children of Israel.
