12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
13 For we write no other things to you than what you read or acknowledge; and I trust you shall acknowledge even to the end;
8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in him and in you, because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines.
13 By this we know that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
