    12 Now when Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people into the house of the LORD:

    13 And she looked, and behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entrance, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded trumpets, also the singers with instruments of music, and those who taught to sing praise.     14 When she looked, there was the king standing by the pillar, according to the custom, with the princes and the trumpeters beside him. All the people of the land rejoiced and blew trumpets, and Athaliah tore her clothes and cried, 'Treason, Treason!'.

    20 All the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet, for they had killed Athaliah with the sword beside the king's house.

    1 When Athaliah, the mother of Ahaziah, saw that her son was dead, she rose and destroyed all the royal descendants.

    2 But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons who were slain. She hid him and his nurse in the bedroom away from Athaliah, so he was not killed.

    3 He was hidden with her in the house of the LORD for six years, while Athaliah reigned over the land.

    4 In the seventh year, Jehoiada sent and brought the commanders of hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the LORD, and made a covenant with them, and took an oath from them in the house of the LORD, and showed them the king's son.

    10 But when Athaliah, the mother of Ahaziah, saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal lineage of the house of Judah.

    11 But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him from among the king's sons who were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedroom. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah), hid him from Athaliah so that she did not kill him.
