1 And I, brothers, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.
17 For we are not like many who corrupt the word of God; but as of sincerity, as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.
2 But have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth.
21 Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
10 You are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and blamelessly we behaved ourselves among you who believe:
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

3 How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those that heard him;

4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we have worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
