1Now of the things we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
3How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those that heard him;
9And to make all people see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hidden in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
2Which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy scriptures,
1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life;
2For the life was revealed, and we have seen it, and testify, and show to you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us;
3That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, so that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
9And having been made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him;
3According to his divine power, he has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to glory and virtue:
1Since many have undertaken to set in order a narrative of those things which are most surely believed among us,

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ:
19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yes and no, but in him was yes.
