14For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end;
15And it is yet far more evident: for in the likeness of Melchizedek there arises another priest,
17But, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:
28For the law appoints as high priests men who have weaknesses; but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son, who is perfected forever.
20And inasmuch as he was not made priest without an oath:
21For those priests were made without an oath; but this one with an oath by him that said to him, The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek:
22By so much was Jesus made the guarantor of a better covenant.
20Now may the God of peace, who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
24For Christ has not entered into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
5So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become a high priest, but He who said to Him, 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You.'
6As He also says in another place, 'You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.'
7In the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His reverent submission;
7Remember those who have the rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.
8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful;
20For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
1The elders among you I exhort, who am also an elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
