20Now may the God of peace, who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
12Beware, brothers and sisters, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
15Speak these things, and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.
2For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
7Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, Today if you will hear His voice,
9Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we respected them: shall we not much more be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
3How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those that heard him;
11These things command and teach.
23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful;
7Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
28Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
14For you, brothers, became followers of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Jews:
5Servants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of your heart, as to Christ;
14Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to argue about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers.
35Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.
17Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
2And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
16Therefore I urge you, imitate me.
5And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to children, "My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by him:
15And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, while he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.
