20And inasmuch as he was not made priest without an oath:
21For those priests were made without an oath; but this one with an oath by him that said to him, The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek:
22By so much was Jesus made the guarantor of a better covenant.
16Thus did Moses, according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.
17Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
5So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become a high priest, but He who said to Him, 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You.'

23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful;

2Has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
3Who being the brightness of His glory, and the exact image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
20Where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, made a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

2For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;

3Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like the Son of God; remains a priest continually.
10For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of one; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,
15And it is yet far more evident: for in the likeness of Melchizedek there arises another priest,

10For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
7Remember those who have the rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.
22For Moses truly said to the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up to you from among your brethren, like unto me; Him shall you hear in all things whatever He shall say to you.
10He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much: and he who is unjust in what is least is also unjust in much.
14Seeing then that we have a great high priest who has passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
