26 For such a high priest was fitting for us, who is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;
1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
17 And if you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in reverent fear;
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest who has passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country: therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by which we draw near to God.
24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
1 Therefore, leaving the foundational teachings of Christ, let us move on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of teaching about baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
15 Let us, therefore, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think differently, God will reveal even this to you.

5 And have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,

6 For this reason was the gospel preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
