For thus says the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall have a hundred left, and that which went forth by a hundred shall have ten left, to the house of Israel.

12 A third part of you shall die with pestilence, and with famine they shall be consumed in your midst: and a third part shall fall by the sword around you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.
31 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of Mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
3 And it shall come to pass, that he who is left in Zion, and he who remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem.
10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be built:
12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is struck with destruction.

7 And he said to them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go forth. And they went forth, and killed in the city.

9 Then he said to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD does not see.
8 And it shall come to pass that in all the land, says the LORD, two-thirds shall be cut off and die, but one-third shall be left in it.
6 You have multiplied your slain in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses plundered, and the women violated; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
9 Except the LORD of hosts had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sodom, and we would have been like Gomorrah.

15 And the five thousand that are left in the breadth opposite the twenty-five thousand shall be a common place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst of it.
16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the nations where they go; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
8 And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Why has the LORD done thus to this great city?
17 Therefore thus says the LORD; Your wife shall be a harlot in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by line; and you shall die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity from his land.
9 She that has borne seven languishes: she has given up the ghost; her sun has gone down while it was yet day: she has been ashamed and confounded: and the rest of them I will deliver to the sword before their enemies, says the LORD.
2 You shall burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and you shall take a third part, and strike around it with a knife: and a third part you shall scatter to the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
9 I will make you perpetual desolations, and your cities shall not return: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
10 Go up upon her walls, and destroy; but do not make a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD'S.
22 For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: a destruction is decreed, overflowing with righteousness.
6 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Like the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
11 That the house of Israel may no longer go astray from me, nor be polluted anymore with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the Lord GOD.
32 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and those who escape out of Mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
28 For I will make the land most desolate, and the pride of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that no one shall pass through.
3 For out of the north a nation comes against her, which shall make her land desolate, and no one shall dwell therein: they shall move away, they shall depart, both man and beast.
2 And it shall come to pass, if they say to you, Where shall we go forth? then you shall tell them, Thus says the LORD; Those for death, to death; and those for the sword, to the sword; and those for the famine, to the famine; and those for the captivity, to the captivity.
17 Gather up your wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
