17Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face.

21So Joash the king of Israel went up, and they saw one another in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongs to Judah.

27Now after the time that Amaziah turned away from following the LORD they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem, and he fled to Lachish; but they sent to Lachish after him, and killed him there.

9And the LORD said to me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

15Thus shall Bethel do to you because of your great wickedness: in the morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
12The rest of the acts of Joash, all that he did, and his might with which he fought against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
34And this thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, to cut it off and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
10Moreover, the LORD spoke again to Ahaz, saying,
2And He said, Amos, what do you see? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then the LORD said to me, The end has come upon my people Israel; I will not pass by them anymore.
11Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken to the king, they told also to their father.
14That in the day I visit the transgressions of Israel upon him, I will also visit the altars of Bethel; and the horns of the altar shall be cut off and fall to the ground.
8And now you think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and you are a great multitude, and with you are golden calves, which Jeroboam made for you to be gods.
11Concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear the word of the LORD;

5The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Beth-aven: for its people shall mourn over it, and its priests who rejoiced on it, for its glory, because it has departed from it.
