Until now is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly troubled me, and my countenance changed in me, but I kept the matter in my heart.

  • 19Then I desired to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the rest with its feet.

  • 31While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken; The kingdom has departed from you.

  • 12As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

  • 14Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days; for the vision is yet for the days to come.

  • 8But at last, Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods, and before him I told the dream, saying,

  • 5I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

  • 23At the beginning of your petitions the commandment came forth, and I have come to show you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore, understand the matter, and consider the vision.
