And it shall be that the city which is nearest to the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take a heifer, which has not been worked with, and which has not drawn in the yoke;

30 If there is imposed on him a sum of money, then he shall pay to redeem his life whatever is imposed on him.
31 Whether it has gored a son or a daughter, according to this judgment it shall be done to him.
32 If the ox gores a male or female servant, he shall give to their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.
34 the owner of the pit shall make it good; he shall give money to the owner of them, and the dead beast shall be his.
35 If one man's ox hurts another's, so that it dies, then they shall sell the live ox and divide the money from it; and the dead ox they shall also divide.
36 Or if it is known that the ox was accustomed to gore in time past, and its owner has not kept it in, he shall surely pay ox for ox, and the dead animal shall be his own.
2 This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD has commanded, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without spot, having no blemish, and upon which a yoke has never come:
3 And you shall give her to Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her outside the camp, and one shall slay her before him:

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow and two sheep;
5 As when a man goes into the forest with his neighbor to cut wood, and his hand swings the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slips from the handle and strikes his neighbor so that he dies, he shall flee to one of those cities and live:
6 Lest the avenger of blood pursue the manslayer while his heart is hot and overtake him, because the way is long, and kill him; though he was not worthy of death, since he did not hate him in time past.
18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him.
14 But if a man acts presumptuously against his neighbor, to kill him with guile, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die.
3 And the cities they shall have to dwell in, and their suburbs shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts.
15 Thus shall you do to all the cities which are very far from you, which are not of the cities of these nations.
21 Then you shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, outside the sanctuary.
27 And the avenger of blood finds him outside the borders of the city of his refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:
3 That the slayer who kills any person unintentionally and unknowingly may flee there: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood.
4 And when he who flees to one of those cities shall stand at the entrance of the gate of the city and shall declare his case in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city to them and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.
16 And whoever touches someone who is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
17 And for an unclean person they shall take some of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put there in a vessel:
9 And a clean man shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them outside the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of purification: it is a purification for sin.
3 You shall prepare a road for yourself, and divide the territory of your land, which the LORD your God gives you to inherit, into three parts, so that every manslayer may flee there.
24 Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the avenger of blood according to these judgments:
6 And he shall dwell in that city until he stands before the congregation for judgment, and until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days: then the slayer shall return to his own city and to his own house, to the city from which he fled.
1 If a man steals an ox or a sheep and kills it or sells it, he shall restore five oxen for the ox and four sheep for the sheep.
26 But to the young woman you shall do nothing; there is in the young woman no sin worthy of death; for just as when a man rises against his neighbor and kills him, even so is this matter.
12 He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death.
24 Then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them with stones so that they die; the young woman because she did not cry out, being in the city; and the man because he has humbled his neighbor's wife; so you shall put away the evil from among you.
26 Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD'S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD'S.
12 And they shall be for you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer may not die, until he stands before the congregation in judgment.
21 And he shall carry the bull outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bull; it is a sin offering for the congregation.
