24 Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the avenger of blood according to these judgments:
9 Now therefore do not hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man and know what you ought to do to him; but bring his gray head down to the grave with blood.
31 Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death: but he shall surely be put to death.
4 Do not say in your heart, after the LORD your God has cast them out from before you, saying, Because of my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land: but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD drives them out from before you.
29 So these things shall be for a statute of judgment to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
