1Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying, I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously: the horse and its rider he has thrown into the sea.
8And the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
11And the LORD said to the children of Israel, Did I not deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?
19And they said, An Egyptian delivered us from the hand of the shepherds, and he also drew water enough for us and watered the flock.
3And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

18And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, Let me go, I pray, and return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see whether they are yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
8But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
11In all the signs and wonders which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
24So Moses listened to the voice of his father-in-law and did all that he said.
