4And though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it shall slay them; and I will set my eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.
18And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
14O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your vain thoughts lodge within you?
8Therefore, the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and He has delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as you see with your eyes.
19Thus said the LORD to me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;

8And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Why has the LORD done thus to this great city?
13He said also to me, Turn yet again, and you shall see greater abominations that they do.
4And my eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity: but I will repay your ways upon you, and your abominations shall be in the midst of you; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
10For the mountains I will take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the birds of the heavens and the beasts have fled; they are gone.
1Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if you can find a man, if there is anyone who executes judgment, who seeks the truth; and I will pardon it.
6Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is in it, and whose scum has not gone out! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.
8Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth, except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD.
2Judah mourns, and its gates languish; they are in mourning on the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem has gone up.
9And I will do in you what I have not done, and the like of which I will not do anymore, because of all your abominations.
6He said furthermore to me, Son of man, do you see what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn yet again, and you shall see greater abominations.
10And he spread it before me; and it was written on the inside and on the outside: and there was written in it lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
