And he said to them, Do you know Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know him.

2Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel your mother's father; and take yourself a wife from there of the daughters of Laban your mother's brother.
12And he said, Lift up now your eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are streaked, speckled, and spotted: for I have seen all that Laban does to you.
14And Rachel and Leah answered and said to him, Is there yet any portion or inheritance for us in our father's house?
1And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob has taken away all that was our father's; and from that which was our father's, he has gained all this wealth.
2And Jacob noticed the expression of Laban, and behold, it was not toward him as before.
8And Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him.
19And Laban said, It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man; stay with me.
23and said, "Whose daughter are you? Please tell me, is there room in your father's house for us to lodge?"
25Then Laban overtook Jacob. Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the mount, and Laban with his brethren pitched in Mount Gilead.
43And Laban answered and said to Jacob, These daughters are my daughters, and these children are my children, and these cattle are my cattle, and all that you see is mine: and what can I do this day to these my daughters, or to their children whom they have borne?
29And they came to Jacob their father in the land of Canaan, and told him all that had happened to them; saying,
4And Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah to the field to his flock,
5And said to them, I see your father's expression, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father has been with me.
5And Isaac sent Jacob away: and he went to Padanaram to Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother.
32With whomever you find your gods, let him not live: before our brethren discern what is yours with me, and take it to you. For Jacob did not know that Rachel had stolen them.
33And Laban went into Jacob's tent, and into Leah's tent, and into the two maidservants' tents; but he found them not. Then he went out of Leah's tent, and entered into Rachel's tent.
8And he said, What do you mean by all this company which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
